Shaishav Dave, Director - Business Process Outsourcing

Shaishav Dave is a director in Citrin Cooperman’s Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Practice based out of the India office. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Certified Public Accountant (License Awaited) with over nine years of experience in U.S. accounting and tax. 

With a wealth of experience and specialization in U.S. accounting practices, Shaishav has successfully managed intricate accounting projects and cleanup assignments. His expertise extends to data migration between various accounting software platforms, demonstrating his proficiency in handling complex financial data transitions. His primary area of expertise lies in real estate and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), where he has demonstrated a deep understanding and a proven track record of delivering exceptional results. He boasts practical, hands-on experience with a broad spectrum of widely used accounting software systems in the U.S., enabling him to navigate complex financial landscapes with ease. 

Before joining Citrin Cooperman, Shaishav held a significant role at a prominent outsourcing firm located in Ahmedabad, India. In this capacity, he initially served as a senior accounts officer, overseeing a wide range of responsibilities that included bookkeeping, tax management, payroll processing, sales tax compliance, and accounting cleanup projects. Within just three years, Shaishav's exceptional performance and leadership qualities led to his promotion to the position of Assistant Vice President. In this elevated role, he assumed responsibility for leading a sizable team of over 80 professionals. He worked and collaborated closely with more than 50 U.S. CPAs, providing them with the advantages and efficiencies inherent to outsourcing solutions. At his previous firm, Shaishav received the Rising Star Award (2015), Star Performer Award (2016), and AVP with Minimum Attrition Award (2018).  

Outside of the office, Shaishav loves hiking, morning exercises, eating healthy foods, and travelling.
